The braid in this necklace kit is the Kusari Tsunagi. It is an 8-strand round, chained braid. The braid structure and Jubilee ribbon are a fantastic combination. The edge beads have been selected to enhance the colors in the ribbon. The Boro Glass Focal bead is exquisite.This is a must do kit, however, you must be familiar with the Kusari Tsunagi braid.  If you need to learn the Kusari Tsunagi braid, click here for an excellent 14-page tutorial.

I have provided enough material in the kit to make up to a 22" to 24" necklace (depending on braiders). This is a fantastic technique to use for bracelets as well. You can make the necklace quite a bit shorter as well. I like it at about 18" to 19".

You will need: Kumihimo Disk (I use either the standard thickness mini disk), 8 Bobbins, Scissors, Tape Measure, Fray Block, Glue (I like Weldbond).

You will learn: You will learn how to braid with beads using the Kusari Tsunagi Braid structure, how to start in the middle and you'll learn a great technique when all the cords won't fit through the hole of the focal bead.
