This is another 8/0 Painting with Beads Necklace, however, instead of an Adjustable Closure, this pattern is written with the All-in-One Magnetic Glue-In Closure (not pictured). To achieve the 7 sections of colorful patterns, the beads are strung in specific sequences. The finished length of the beaded portion is about 17″ depending on the beads and the braider.  The tails on either end are 3″. This necklace can be worn as short as 17″ or as long as 24″ (give or take). A longer necklace would have some braided C-Lon showing at each end of the beaded section. This looks nice and some people prefer not having beads going all the way around their neck! You will need: Kumihimo Disk (I recommend a new or newer disk with tight slots - a BeadSmith THICK Mini is your best bet), 8 bobbins, tape measure, scissors. You should know: Kumihimo Round Braid (Kongoh Gumi) and how to “drop” beads (if you aren’t sure how to “drop beads” see Kumihimo Tip #14). While the instructions are written for a disk, they are easily adaptable to the Marudai.
